Making a Black Sheep Puppet

• 1). Use a pair of scissors to cut two ears out of a black sock. The easiest way to do this is to cut a capital "D"-shape without cutting out the inside of the "D." Use a hot glue gun to glue the top portion of ears to the side of a second black sock to keep the ear floppy. They should be located about even with the heel of the sock.
  
  
• 2). Glue two buttons for eyes on the sock. Place them in position about where the eyes would be on a sheep.
  
  
• 3). Use a needle and pink thread to sew a nose and mouth onto the sock. The nose should be a triangle shape, while the mouth should be a line that comes down from the nose. Place the nose about three inches up from the toe of the sock.
  
  
• 4). Use yarn, such a boucle yarn, in either cream or white to create a wooly coat. To do this, wrap the yarn around the leg of the sock, starting below the ears. Use hot glue to attach it in place.
  
  

Making a White Sheep Puppet

• 1). Insert your hand into a white sock. Place your fingers into the toe of the sock and put your thumb against the toe of the sock. Use your other hand to press the foot of the sock inward so that you have a mouth shape around your hand. Remove your hand but keep the mouth shape in the sock.
  
  
• 2). Use scissors to cut a circle out of a piece of black felt to make a nose. Use a hot glue gun to glue the nose where the sheep's nose should be located. Cut a tongue shape out of a piece of pink felt and glue it inside of the mouth where the tongue should be located. Cut two lamb ear shapes out of white felt and glue the top part of the ears to the side of the head where the ears should be located to keep the ears floppy.
  
  
• 3). Purchase googly eyes at your local craft store or online. Glue some of the googly eyes on the head using your hot glue gun to finish the puppet.
