Zoom Capabilities Problem

• The zoom feature on the LG Dare is a very popular capability, which many phones do not feature. However, the reason why many people cannot use zoom on their Dare is because the highest (and preferred resolution) does not allow for the use of the zoom; therefore, when the camera turns on, the zoom feature will not show up on the screen.
  
  Because of this, many people are left to wonder if their Dare has zooming capabilities. There should be a small option on the corner of the touch screen that will allow you to zoom in or out, as well as other options, such as focus and effects. If you do not see the option for the zoom there, don't worry; your phone does have the feature--it is just hidden.
  
  

Finding the Zoom

• To remedy the situation, you must go into your "Options" menu. In the "Options," you will see "Camera settings" and, inside that, you will need to select a lower resolution before the camera will begin showing your zoom feature. It is a relatively easy fix, but, because LG does not outright tell their customers that the highest resolution does not include zoom, it leaves the customers wondering if the phone is defective. Once that is completed, you can return to your camera and the zoom feature will be readily available for you to use, although it will be in a lower resolution. In lower resolutions, the picture quality will begin to lack.
