How to Strengthen Face Muscles with the FaceMaster

1

Set the electrical current of the FaceMaster to the level appropriate for your facial muscles. If you are just beginning to use the product, it is important not to set the current beyond the third level. As your muscles strengthen and tighten, then you can increase the current accordingly to keep improving the muscle strength.
2

If you have not already done so, insert a 9-volt battery into the machine and turn it on to make sure that it is working.
3

Plug the dual probe into the base of the machine.
4

Put conductive solution into the basin allotted for it on the FaceMaster.
5

Cover the probe tips with foam caps provided with the newer FaceMaster version. If you have an older version, then insert the Q-tip applicators into the problems.
6

Dip the probes into the conductive solution, making certain that they are saturated through.
7

Turn on the FaceMater.
8

Touch the probe's tips together for one or two seconds.
9

Begin the procedure. If you do not feel a slight tingling sensation, then the current is not circulating properly. Re-wet the foam or cotton tips with more conductive solution and begin again. It the current still isn't felt, then adjust the intensity level to the next level and begin again. Continue until you begin to feel a tingle when the probes are touched to the skin.
10

Begin the procedure with the eyes. Position both probes at the outer corner. Leave one probe in place while circling the other probe around the eye 10 times. Repeat the steps on the other eye. This process helps to tone and strengthen the orbicularis oculi muscle.
11

Move to the eyebrows. Place one probe below the brow and one above it, beginning at the inner part of the eye. Hold the probes in place for five seconds in position one. Then move the probes and repeat along the entire length of the brow. Repeat the steps with the other eyebrow. This process helps to tone and strengthen the corrugator and procerus muscles.
12

Work on strengthening the upper eye area by positioning one probe on the upper inside corner of the eye and the other on the outside corner of the eye. Hold for five seconds. Repeat the step with the other eye. This process also helps to tone and strengthen the orbicularis oculi muscle.
13

Strength the lower eye by positioning one probe on the lower inside corner of the eye and the other on the outside corner of the eye. Be cautious, however, to keep the probes on the bone and not on the inner soft tissue of the eye. Hold for five seconds. Repeat the step with the other eye. This process also helps to tone and strengthen the orbicularis oculi muscle.
14

Move to the temple. Place one probe at the hairline and the other at the corner of the eyebrow. Carefully move the the lower probe down to the eyebrow line. Hold for five seconds. This process helps to tone and strengthen the temporalis muscle.
15

Position the probes between the eyebrows. Slowly move the probes apart, in opposite directions. Repeat the process 10 times. This also helps to tone and strengthen the corrugator muscle.
16

Position the probes in the center of the chin crease. Slowly move the upper probe to toward the lip. At the same time, move the lower probe toward the bottom of the chin. Hold for five seconds. This helps to tone and strengthen the mentalis and the depressor labbi inferioris muscles.
17

Position both probes at the lower jawline. Slowly move the top probe up about one to two inches. Hold for five seconds. Continue to move along the jawline, repeating this step until you have covered the entire jawline. Then repeat on the other side of the face. The process helps to tone and strengthen the platysma muscle.
18

Move to the jowls. Position one probe at the corner of the nose. Place the other probe under the jawline. Hold for five seconds. Continue the process along the jowl (about five times). Repeat the process on the other side of the face. This procedure helps to tone and strengthen the depressor anguli oris muscle.
19

Work on the cheek area by positioning one of the probes at the outer corner of the mouth and the other close to the earlobe. Slowly move the two probes toward each other. Hold for five seconds. Repeat for up to five times. Repeat on the other side of the face. This procedure helps to tone and strengthen the depressor anguli oris muscle.
20

Continue work on the cheek area by placing one probe into the hollow of the cheek and the other probe underneath the cheek bone. Slowly move the upper probe to the inside corner of the eye. Repeat the process in five different procedures moving from the inside of the eye to the outer corner of the eye. Repeat the process on the other cheek. This procedure also helps to tone and strengthen the depressor anguli oris muscle.

21

Finish work on the cheek by placing one probe in the lower inside hollow of the eye and the other probe at the corner of the nose. Hold for five seconds. Repeat no more than twice. Repeat this procedure on the other side of the nose. This procedure also helps to tone and strengthen the depressor anguli oris muscle.

22

Start working on the mouth by positioning the probes at each corner of the mouth below the bottom lip. Slowly move the probes towards each other. Hold for five seconds. Repeat as many as five times. This process helps to strengthen the orbicularis oris muscle.

23

Place the probes at the corner of the mouth just above the upper lip. Slowly move the probes together. Hold for five seconds. Repeat as many as five times. This process also helps to strengthen the orbicularis oris muscle.

24

Continue work on the mouth by placing one probe at the corner of the upper lip and one probe in the center of the upper lip. Hold for five seconds. Repeat as many as five times. This process also helps to strengthen the orbicularis oris muscle.
