The accelerometer and proximity sensors are used for screen auto rotation and auto lock
ZTE Open L is 4G LTE enabled smartphone. It will support Quad band GSM (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), Dual band WCDMA (900 / 2100 MHz) and Quad band LTE (800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600 MHz) network.
The phone has 5 Inches IPS capacitive touch screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolutions. It has 5MP rear and 2MP front camera. Rear camera features, LED flash, autofocus, digital zoom, touch focus, panorama, face detection, HDR and video calling.
ZTE offers 8GB Internal storage in this phone, which has expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. IT has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and A-GPS connectivity for data transferring and sharing.
The phone is packed with 2200 mAh Li-ion battery for long talk time and standby time. It measures 5.73 x 2.87 x 0.37 inches dimensions. The phone is available in black color.
Based on its 4G compatibility, the ZTE Open L is a little more ambitious than its sibling, the Open C. Don't be fooled by its 5" screen: the display offers a rather modest resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Rather, it's what's behind it that matters: it shields a brand spanking new Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, featuring four Cortex A7 cores, which is clocked at 1.1 GHz. As a result, the graphics rely on an Adreno 304 GPU. There's now 1 GB of RAM (more than before) and 8 GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD port (there's room for a further 32 GB).
There's a 5-Megapixel camera on the back of the handset and a 2-Megapixel camera on the front, for selfies. As for connectivity options, there was nothing particularly surprising: making the most of Qualcomm's new entry-level SoC, the Open L is 4G-compatible (category 4) and features the usual connectivity options: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The handset measures 145.5 x 72.8 x 9.4 mm (5.7" x 2.9" x 0.4") and houses a decent-sized 2200 mAh battery.
