These young boys prepare to jump off Amsterdam's Pythonbrug, or "Python Bridge." When you approach the snake-like red steel, it's easy to see how the bridge earned its name.

Designed by Rotterdam firm West 8 and built in 2001, the Pythonbrug connects Sporenburg peninsula with Borneo Island.
