    • 1). Allow the cooktop to cool completely.

    • 2). Apply a dime- to quarter-size dollop of cream cleaner to the burnt-on stain.

    • 3). Hold the razor blade tool at a 45-degree angle. Use the razor blade to scrape the burnt-on stain off of the cooktop, applying pressure as you go. Keep some cream cleaner between the blade and the cooktop at all times to prevent scratches.

    • 4). Wipe the cream cleaner and residue off the razor blade with a paper towel.

    • 5). Squirt some cream cleaner over random areas on the cooktop. Spread it onto the cooktop with a clean paper towel.

    • 6). Buff the cream cleaner off the cooktop with a clean paper towel, rubbing in a circular motion.
