Ask anybody who is a leader, what leadership is all about and you will get very interesting answers in need.
Ask him or her again whether he believes he is leader in his own right...
well...
you will not get a very straight answer as well.
Leadership is in broad fields including professional, students, trade union civil society, political leadership opinion leaders and community among others.
Leaders are born not made.
However, if at all it was true, a good number of successful and emerging leaders were not necessary born with inborn leadership traits.
They acquire leadership skills by training mentoring, role modeling and acquisition, eventually they become remarkable leaders and it is evident in what they do.
Leadership and Attitude Why are people so different? Simple, it is an issue of "ATTITUDE", attitude can be read without speaking, it is contagious, can attract and repel.
Watch your attitude.
Leadership and Challenges Many outstanding leaders have overcome many challenges in their lives to be where they are today.
For example, the American historian Francis Parkman who could not work for more than five minutes at a time, because his eyesight was so wretched that he could only type a few gigantic words on a manuscript but he rose over these difficulties to write twenty magnificent volumes of History.
He rose above the criticism that he was a slow learner and a retard.
Leadership and Opportunities Being a leader is an issue of sight.
Sight means the ability to perceive with your own mind, and realizing the mental picture when the right time comes.
Louis Pasteur once said that "Change favor's prepared mind".
Leadership and Money Successful leaders create a culture of system performance to generate or create wealth.
This is possible when the leadership cherish its employees, to an extent that the people themselves know that they are valued, appreciated and motivated.
Motivating employees can be achieved by setting targets of how much you can bring in for an institution, company, and organization which is directly proportional to your rewards e.

bonuses or commissions.
Organizations can create departments that are innovative with the main objective of generating income from unexploited entrepreneurial activities for the institution, improve livelihood of its own staff as well as create employment if we were willing to learn and share on how to create wealth in a working world.
Paradigm Shift New leaders with expanded competencies are needed to drive change and shape cooperate, national, and global economies.
Managerial and leadership positions require specific skills, abilities and competences to go hand in hand with them and now they involve much more.
This entails the development of attitudes, values, and mindsets that allow managers to confront, understand and deal with the wide range of forces within and outside their organization as well as development of their operational skills.
We must shift from leaders who do things to leaders who "Do the Right Things".
Therefore as a leader, you must evaluate past outcomes, present behavior and future needs.
