How to Launch iWeb Without MobileMe
- 1). Click on the "iWeb" icon in the dock at the bottom of the screen.
- 2). Select the top level of your site from the directory on the left side of the main iWeb window.
- 3). Open the "Publish to" drop-down menu, and choose the option labeled "Local Folder."
- 4). Enter a name and contact email address for your site in the appropriate fields.
- 5). Click on the "Choose" button in the "Folder Location" section of the window.
- 6). Navigate to the folder on your local hard drive where you want to store the iWeb data. Then press the "Choose" button.
- 7). Enter the primary URL of your website at the bottom of the window.
- 8). Click on the "Publish Site" button in the bottom toolbar to launch the site and export its data to the folder you selected. When you are ready, you can upload the iWeb folder to your active Web server.
