True Hope, Courage and Inspiration For Christmas!
It is the time for Hope, Courage and Inspiration.
Christmas is not necessarily the easiest time of the year but the whole meaning of the season is Hope...
Christ brought us hope when He came to earth as a man.
Many speculate about His journey or His accomplishments but the fact is He came for you and me.
He came to provide the gift of life not just for the after life but for the here and now! His journey was not an after thought but a well planned operation to return the gift of Life to us who are able to recognize our true need.
His stay on this earth taught the Son of God just how difficult it is to be human.
He learned about our weaknesses, strengths, pain, beauty, ugliness, hopes and needs.
His courage and strength was truly put to the test in the garden of Gethsemane when He recognized and then fulfilled the most difficult task of His assignment.
When Jesus recognized the true cost of our freedom, which was to take our sins upon Himself and literally become sin.
He alone provided the way whereby we could have the privilege of peace in our heart and soul, of knowing the One True God who is and always will be.
What you may not recognize is that when Christ drank of the sin of man, He did something that was so incredibly unselfish.
He who was Holy from the beginning, from before time ever was.
He who had for eternity been one with the Father became sin..
..
..
Because of that, His Father could not even look at Him whom He loved and had never known a nanosecond of separation.
Jesus while on the cross was totally cut off from the Kingdom of Heaven..
..
..
That is until His courage led to greatest gift and inspiration man could ever experienced.
He conquered sin, death, hell and the grave.
He became the only sacrifice in the universe sufficient to restore His relationship with man whom He created and loved.
And Jesus loved us so much that after He died on the cross, He came back and visited His disciples and provided them the keys of hope and the power to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus is not just a prophet as some would have us believe.
He is not just a good man as others who lack understanding try to explain.
Jesus Christ is and always will be the anointed Son of God, the King of all kings, the Hope...
Courage...
and Inspiration for the world.
His greatness was displayed in His compassion and service to each of us.
This is why we celebrate His birth.
It doesn't matter if it was on the 25Th of December.
It doesn't matter what day it occurred.
It just matters that the most high God, Jehovah or El Roi (the God who sees) as Sarah called Him, cared about His relationship with man enough to provide us with a gift of such great love that would make things right in the Heavens and by this act of compassion provide us His love, mercy and grace.
Christmas is not just a season we must survive although sometimes it is the toughest time of the year.
It is a season when we remember the greatest gift ever..
..
..
Jesus! Blessings to each of you today and may you know the fullness of Christ in reality.
May you come to understand the exceptional grace and mercy our Lord shares with anyone and everyone who asks Him for it.
Merry Christmas from Scott!
