Marriage is a journey, the starting of which a bride and groom does at the time of their marriage, when they tie, the knot of marriage with each other.
This is the time, which marks the beginning of their new married life, the promise of making it happy and healthy they take, while performing the vows of marriage.
Marriage is a promise, which a bride and groom make to each other, for living together for the rest of their lives.
There are different stages, which a couple has to go through, in his married life, in which the couple faces a lot of ups and downs.
The couple has to make sure that they together face all the problems in their life and find a solution for it.
There are different stages of marriage, which needs to be crossed by the bride and the groom, keeping in mind that each stage they cover, leads to happiness and maturity in their relation.
It is the duty of the married couple to understand and support each other at various pints of their life, to see that none of them faces problems or hurdles in achieving their goal.
The stages in a married life are basically divided on the quotient and the proportion of love, respect and care they have for each other at different ages in their life.
There are many reasons, which leads to an increase or decrease in the feelings, possessed by the bride and groom for each other.
The different stages or phases, which a bride and groom have to travel, are: Young love: It is the very first stage in the married life of a bride and groom.
During this stage the curiosity and interest of knowing each other is at its peak and a lot of affection and care is shown by both the partners towards each other.
At this stage, the couple should try to make each possible effort to gel with each other and their family.
A lot has to be put in by the bride and groom, to gain each others confidence and support.
Reluctance, discomfort, are the factors, which needs to be worked upon in the first stage of the marriage.
The stage of the young love is usually for the first two years of marriage.
Realistic love: This is the stage, when the bride and the groom have already known a lot about each other and do not have much curiosity left to know each other.
In this stage, the couple makes themselves understand that, they have to lead their life with the same person, so should start accepting his positive and negative points.
This stage lasts generally from the third year onwards to the tenth year of the marriage.
Comfortable love: This stage is when both the bride and groom have spent a reasonable amount of time with each other and know quite a lot about their life partner.
The bride and the groom by this time have developed their individual identities, in their personal as well as professional life.
Support and understanding are the factors, which should remain constant for the life partner.
This stage generally lasts from 11th year to the 25th year of the marriage.
Renewing love: this stage is when the bride and groom have become very old and have a lot of responsibilities with them.
Till this point they have successfully divided the roles and responsibilities among each other, due to which it becomes easier for both of them to lead a smooth and happy life.
The renewal of the love shared in the first stage, happens in this stage.
Because, the dreams and goals of family and professional lives, have got accomplished by this time, so the bride and groom can spend quality time with each other to rejoice their love, which is practised by them for the next ten years.
Transcendent love: The love and affection shared during this stage last till the last breath taken by the couple.
They generally possess a feeling of care and love for each other, because they know, that they are the only ones, who have to take care of each other.
These are the stages, which a couple goes through, in their married life, the ups and downs in which has to be shared and dealt by both the bride and groom, to have a satisfied life ahead.
