    Hidden Taskbar

    • 1). Hover your mouse over the location where you last saw your taskbar. This should be along one of the edges of your computer's screen, most likely the bottom. The taskbar will reappear.

    • 2). Right-click on a blank spot on the taskbar and choose "Properties" from the menu.

    • 3). Remove the check from the box next to "Auto-hide the taskbar," then click the "OK" button. Your taskbar should no longer hide when your mouse is not hovering over it.

    Configuring Taskbar

    • 1). Right-click on a blank spot on the taskbar and choose "Properties."

    • 2). Click the "Bottom" option from the drop-down menu next to "Taskbar Location On Screen." This will place the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, which is the default location.

    • 3). Click the "Customize" button to launch the icon customization.

    • 4). Place a check in the box next to "Always show all icons and notifications in the taskbar." This will return any missing icons in the notifications section.

    • 5). Right-click on a blank spot on the taskbar and click "Lock the Taskbar" if there is no check mark next to the option. This will prevent you from accidentally removing icons or changing the taskbar's layout.
