    • 1). If you already have plain baseball jersey that you are ready to decorate, you can skip to step 6. If not, take the sleeves off a plain white T-shirt or onesie using a seam ripper.

    • 2). If you would like, you can cut at an angle up to the ribbed neck ring on each shoulder for a more realistic baseball jersey. Keep cut pieces to make a pattern.

    • 3). Fold the colored jersey fabric in half so the two ends meet in the middle. Using the cut sleeve and shoulder pieces (folded in half) as a pattern, trace onto the colored fabric so the entire sleeve is along each fold in the fabric. Adjust the length, as necessary, to make 3/4 sleeves as well as adding 1/2 inch for the hem.

    • 4). Cut the traced pieces out of the colored jersey fabric. Pin side edges of each sleeve piece right sides together and sew. Press in 1/2 inch on bottom of each sleeve folding and sew.

    • 5). Pin to white T-shirt or onesie with right sides together. Sew each sleeve onto T-shirt or onesie.

    • 6). Take the baseball team logo or image you would like on the jersey and trace it onto a sheet of freezer paper large enough to cover the front of the jersey.

    • 7). Using an exacto knife, cut out the outline of the image or logo you traced. Keep ahold of any floating pieces within the cutout design to put back in place before ironing.

    • 8). Iron on the freezer paper to the baby's jersey where you like the image to show up. Make sure you iron the shiny side down. Move the iron around gently to ensure complete adhesion to the fabric to prevent paint from bleeding.

    • 9). Place a cardboard piece inside your onesie or t-shirt so that paint doesn't bleed through to other side. Brush on the fabric paint inside the cutouts. Leave the freezer paper on and let paint dry for 24 hours before removing.
