Breathing Away Your Acidity

Breathing, is so essential to life, and is the body's way of providing adequate amounts of Oxygen to combine with fuel to provide the body's energy, and to take away Carbon Dioxide, the byproduct of metabolism.
The respiratory system works as a unit to keep breathing functioning at its best.
By sensing pressures in the alveoli and the lung spaces the gas pressures in the lungs are constantly being measured by the body.
The body makes sure that the uptake of oxygen and the elimination of carbon dioxide is equal to that used and produced by the tissues of the body.
The rate of the breath tries to match the needs of the tissues as body movement becomes more or less vigorous.
Oxygen uptake is much like the weather, high pressure flows to low pressure but oxygen uptake can be satisfactorily achieved over a wider range of pressures, depending on activity and stress levels.
CO2 on the other hand diffuses much more easily in a water-based environment.
Since CO2 regulation is dependent on body water volume, its regulation becomes much more complex.
Studies show that a drop of 2 percent in water volume can upset the breathing efficiency of the body to the degree that acids start to build up in the tissues more quickly.
Protein and amino acid function that is regulated by hydrogen ions is dependent on proper O2 and CO2 balance.
Hydrogen ions are regulated by the body's water.
If the body's water is acidic, the hydrogen ions lose electrons and turn into hydrogen radicals which are acidic and begin a chain reaction of atomic and genetic damage.
Because metabolism creates large volumes of volatile and non-volatile acids, CO2 being a volatile acid, what is put into the body in the way of fuel has a tremendous impact on how much O2 needs to be available to balance the CO2 that must be disposed of.
The metabolism of carbohydrates and fats lead to the formation of large amounts of CO2, which then combines with water to form carbonic acid.
Carbonic acid is irritating and can lead to inflammation in the tissues if it cannot be eliminated efficiently.
The lungs take care of excreting the volatile portion but the rest is carried out through the kidneys, which again require adequate water to transport these acids to the dump.
Water volume and quality are critical to rid the body of CO2 and its derivatives.
Alkaline, ionized water creates the optimum chemistry in the body to prevent hydrogen ion conversion into hydrogen radicals, in addition to converting the carbonic acids to a harmless state.
Alkaline neutralizes acids and puts less strain on the breathing.
More dissolved O2 is introduced to the blood stream by the extra oxygen in the water, so the demand from the tissues will be less.
CO2 dissolves in the alkaline water much more easily due to its microclustered alkaline effect to provide more efficient elimination.
So, drink up and breathe easier.
