How Do I Remove 1990 Ford F150 Radios?
- 1). Unlatch the hood to disconnect the battery. Unbolt the negative cable from the terminal with a socket wrench.
- 2). Unclip the panel surrounding the radio by hand. Be gentle pulling the panel out, as otherwise it may break. Place the panel to the side.
- 3). Unbolt the four bolts surrounding the radio with a socket wrench. This will free the radio from the dash.
- 4). Pull the radio out gently to access the wires in the back. The wiring harness and antenna cable will be exposed.
- 5). Unclip the wiring harness by separating the locking tabs and pulling away from the radio. Pull the antenna cable out from the back of the radio.
- 6). Pull the radio out of the truck.
