    • Most craft stores sell unpainted wooden crosses in a pack with various sizes. From the pack, choose the cross you feel would look best on a necklace. Paint that cross and allow to dry. Using a hot glue gun, glue a fastener to the back of the cross. Slide the cross onto the necklace. This necklace would be an ideal gift for someone who is religious and believes in what the cross represents.

    Yarn Cross

    • A yarn cross is a colorful way to represent the cross. Paint two crafts sticks the color of your choice. Apply a coat of tacky glue. Glue yarn at one end of the craft stick and warp around the stick completely covering it. Repeat with the other craft stick. Glue the craft sticks together to form a cross. Decorate the cross with rhinestones.

    Popsicle Cross

    • Paint two Popsicle sticks the color of your choice. Once the Popsicle sticks are dry, weave colorful yarn around the sticks where they overlap. You will be weaving in the shape of an "x." You can glue a hook to the top of the cross to hang this colorful cross on your wall, glue it to a picture frame or a mirror.

    Cross Wreath

    • Paint a 16-inch Styrofoam wreath and eight wooden crosses the colors of your choice. Allow all pieces to completely dry before proceeding. Decorate the wooden crosses with rhinestones, stickers or bible verses. Glue the wooden crosses on the wreath leaving about a 1-inch space between each cross. Decorate the spaces between the crosses with beads, flowers, or any other embellishments you would like to use. Glue a hook on the back of the wreath so you can hang it on your wall.
