    Kydex

    • 1). Place a sheet of Kydex into a preheated oven set at 300 degrees. Let the Kydex heat until the surface just barely begins to bubble.

    • 2). Remove the hot Kydex and set it on a drying rack. Place the knife to be concealed against the Kydex. Wrap the Kydex around the blade and mold it to the knife itself. With the cutting tool, cut down the Kydex around the knife for a custom fit sheath.

    • 3). Pull up the ends before sealing the hot Kydex together and over the knife blade. Insert on D-ring on the top and one on the bottom, and then seal them between the two sheath layers. Let the Kydex cool.

    • 4). Place the Kydex up against the body position where the sheath is to be used. Thread the Velcro strap around the D-clips and then around the body (leg, arm, thigh, etc..).

    • 5). Sand down any sharp edges of the sheath to prevent scrapes against the skin.
