How to Sauté Zucchini in Butter

    • 1). Prepare the zucchini by washing and patting dry. Do not peel.

    • 2). Cut the zucchini into either thin slices or 1/2-inch cubes. Heat your skillet pan and add the butter.

    • 3). Add the zucchini once the butter has started to melt. Let it sit for a minute to soak up the butter, then give it a few light tosses in the pan.

    • 4). Add onions, chives, garlic, pepper or any other favorite seasonings if desired.

    • 5). Continue to stir and toss vegetables in the pan for a few minutes until the zucchini is tender and soft, but not mushy.

    • 6). Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired, then serve and eat immediately.
