    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and then mouse over "All Programs" to show the full Programs list on your computer.

    • 2). Click the "Microsoft Works" option to expand.

    • 3). Click the "Microsoft Works Word Processor" option. The word process opens with a blank page displayed.

    • 4). Type your content into the document.

    • 5). Click the "File" option on the top navigation bar and then click "Save."

    • 6). Type a name for the document in the "File Name' input box and click the "Save" button. The file is saved with the specified file name and the .wps file extension.
