How to: 3D Ball With a Flat Pattern
- 1). Start the Photoshop application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "New." In the dialog that opens, enter the width and height you want for the document and click "OK."
- 2). Select the "Elliptical" selection tool from the toolbar and use it to draw a circular selection on the canvas.
- 3). Set the "Foreground" color to white and the "Background" color to the one you want for the ball. Select the "Gradient" tool from the toolbar and in the options set it to "Radial."
- 4). Drag from the point inside the selection where you want to highlight on the ball to the edge of the selection. Save your work.
