With all the great things that are made out of wood. Ever wonder how they were made? Well, It all starts with a talented woodworker. Don't be fooled, these professionals all started out with easy wood projects. Woodworking is an art, some may slightly disagree and call it a hobby, but it truly takes an artist to come up with some of these magnificent creations. Creating a piece of Art out of wood takes practice, patients and the will to see beauty in a piece of wood. A talented woodworker can take a log of wood and simple boards and create a masterpiece.

Secondly, I touched on it above, but accomplishment is a huge factor. Life is built on small little steps, not giant leaps. So If you set a goal to make, say a bird house. Once you finish it, it's a great feeling. I know what you're saying, it's only a bird house. Well, not exactly, you FINISHED SOMETHING!! How often have we heard, "you never finish anything you start". Well, baby steps. I know it sounds silly, but accomplishment s different for everybody. A seasoned marathon runner would not get excited over a 1 mile run. However, someone totally out of shape and a coach potato for years, this is a HUGE deal. So, enjoy the fact you finished. Even if it is just some easy wood projects.

Lastly, even if you don't make money, you can save some money with making easy wood projects. There are some many things that you can make in lieu of buying. Dog houses, bird feeders, mailboxes, flower boxes, the list goes on. These are now things you don't have to purchase, as well as giving you the satisfaction of knowing that you created them. I hear bragging rights at the local pub.
