Home Remedies and Tips For Acne

There are many home remedies for acne that actually do work.
Here are some tips you can try: 1.
Electric razors help well in preventing acne and other skin flare-ups or breakouts, although they might not shave as close to the skin.
2.
If one is bent on choosing a non-electric razor, then a single-edged blade should be chosen over double-edged and triple-edged blades.
A Blade having more than a single edge grabs and pulls hair follicles from underneath the epidermis.
Inflammation in tight areas is caused when the skin heals itself by closing over these holes and preventing any hair follicles from growing outwards.
3.
Any skin area where daily application of cosmetics is done should be cleaned daily.
The chemicals could be soaked or absorbed up in the holes when sweat producing activities are performed.
4.
Products that are labelled as oil-free or non-comedogenic should be used to avoid skin irritations and pore-clogging which can either cause or are similar to acne.
These pore clogging and skin irritations can also be caused by flaky mineral called mica that is present in shining facial colours.
Similar reactions from other additives can occur such as carmine, heavy cream in blushes and coal tar derivatives.
5.
To lessen the pore clogging, a lip gloss with a matte finish should be preferred over one with a high gloss.
A more shining makeup has more comedogenic content and causes more pore clogging.
There is a greater potential of clogging of pores in the facial areas surrounding the eye if eye creams are used as they contain high concentration of moisturizers.
