Things to do in Grace Bay i.e. Turks and Caicos
Apart from staying on the premises of your exquisite hotel, and taking advantage of the amenities that it has to offer, here are five things that you can do in the Grace Bay Area while spending your holiday in the Turks and Caicos Islands. They are all in walking distance.
Boutique Shopping: Browse along the Grace Bay road where you will find a stretch of shopping complexes, such as the Caicos Cafe complex, Ports Of Call area, La Petite Place, Salt Mills and the Regent Village to name a few. There you can pick up that item that you forgot to bring along with you on your trip, as well as souvenirs and other must have items for yourself.
Grocery Shopping: IGA Supermarket on of the mega food stores on the island has a reasonable size store within the area as well. You want to pick up personal items, or find baby products and have a self-made meal, you can find all of your ingredients if you take a few minutes stroll to the supermarket.
Restaurant dining: There are many restaurants that you should try, all having their own uniqueness to it, like the Indian Restaurant, Thai restaurant, Local soul food restaurants to name a few. Not promoting any one restaurant as they all offer an excellent service and have tasty foods, but put the Coco Bistro restaurant on your list of restaurants that you must visit.
Real Estate searching: You do not have to look that hard, as you walk on the Grace Bay stretch you will find a number of real estate offices. I would prefer if you stop into National Colony Realty (Ports of Call complex), but you are free to find one nearby and see what is happening with the market. Let the agent give you a tour of other real estate properties and help you purchase a piece of paradise for you to call your own.
Boat touring: Let the receptionist at your hotel book you a day trip with one of the chartered boat companies. Let them take you on an island safari, so that you can fall in love with the other islands in the TCI chain like you would have already done in Providenciales.
These are only a few things that can be done in the Grace Bay area, not to mention the island itself.
