    Scottsdale Community College

    • As of 2010, Scottsdale Community College, 27 percent of its faculty members have earned a doctorate degree. The school features small class sizes with an average ratio of 20 students for every one faculty member. SCC is the only college in the country to reside on Native American land, providing an outdoorsy, natural setting for its campus. The school offers a wide range of study options including culinary arts, business, fine arts, behavioral sciences and computer information systems. Students with excellent academic records have the opportunity to join the school's honors program. The school features a number of athletic programs that compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association, including its top ranked men's golf team and its strong programs in tennis and football.

    Glendale Community College

    • Serving over 30,000 students a year, Glendale Community College renovated its facilities as part of $105 million Capital Development Program that began in 2005. These facilities provide students with state-of-the art educational havens in a variety of areas including science, arts, education and business. The school also offers an honors program for students with exemplary academic records. The college partners with local high schools to provide scholarships and opportunities to at-risk students or those who are first generation college students. The school's athletic program features coaches who have received national awards, and many of its student-athletes, including ten football players in 2009, received scholarships to four-year colleges upon graduation.

    Pima Community College

    • With inexpensive tuition and high enrollment numbers, Pima Community College is an attractive option for students interested in beginning their collegiate studies at a community college or adults looking to supplement their current education. As of 2009, the college charged $51.50 per credit and enrolled over 70,000 students. The school offers associates degrees and a variety of fields including arts, business, applied science, fine arts and applied arts. The school also provides a number of social and educational services for students such as child care facilities, job placement, career planning, tutoring and financial aid opportunities. Pima also works with local businesses, presenting networking opportunities for students and educational advancement for business employees. The school features six campuses in and around Tucson and competes nationally in 16 athletic programs within the National Junior College Athletic Association.
