Differences Between the Nissan Armada SE & the Nissan Armada LE
- The Nissan Armada is a full-size SUV that seats eight, comes with either two- or four-wheel drive and is offered with three trim levels. The Armada SE is the basic model, but a nicely appointed one. The LE model was split into two separate trim levels in 2010: the midrange Titanium model and the upscale Platinum model.
- The Nissan Armada SE has a 5.7 liter V-8 engine that puts out 317 horsepower, five-speed automatic transmission, and double-wishbone front and rear independent suspension. Its exterior features include a roof rack, privacy glass, opening rear quarter windows and running boards. Its safety features include front and side air bags, head restraints, child seat anchors and seat belts with pre-tensioners. It has cloth upholstery and a powered driver's seat with manual lumbar support, as well as height adjustable pedals. The Nissan Armada SE features power locks, power windows, powered heated side mirrors and three power outlets. Interior storage includes door pockets, cup holders, seat back storage and front and overhead consoles. Interior lighting includes reading lights, cargo lights and illuminated vanity mirrors. Instrumentation includes a compass, low fuel indicator, tachometer and external temperature. It has cruise control, a tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel and dual-zone air conditioning and heating. Audio features include an AM/FM radio and a 6-disc CD changer with eight speakers, speed-sensitive volume, steering wheel controls and an MP3 input.
- The 2010 Nissan Armada LE Titanium starts with the basic features of the SE model and adds more. The Titanium model has fog lights. The upholstery is leather, and wood trim is added to the dashboard. Its added convenience features include keyless ignition, a universal garage door transmitter, a remote engine start feature and a rear-view camera. The audio system is upgraded, featuring satellite radio and stereo components and 11 speakers from Bose, including a subwoofer. The LE Titanium is pre-wired for cellular phones, and comes with a Bluetooth link.
- The LE Platinum model of the Nissan Armada offers all the features included on the SE and LE Titanium models, plus some additions. The LE Platinum adds a trip computer. Its rear quarter windows are powered, as is its liftgate door. It comes with a powered sunroof. Added safety features include turn signal mirrors and a front parking sensor. The passenger seat is powered, and both driver and passenger seats are heated. The side mirrors are retractable, with automatic dimming on the driver's side. The air conditioning system includes an air filter. The driver's seat has position memory for two drivers, including memorized settings for pedal height and side mirror adjustment. The LE Platinum comes with a rear seat DVD player and video monitor, rear seat headsets, audio and video input and remote controls and a built-in hard drive. The vehicle has a hard-wired voice-activated navigation system, and real-time traffic capabilities.
