How to Make a Single Flower Bouquet

Select a beautiful single flower for each person that you want to carry one. The stems should be 18 to 20 inches long. If the flowers are real they can be placed in floral tubes with water. Use floral tape to wrap and hold pieces of babies breath or other floral filler or greenery to the flower. - 2
For a quick finish simply tie a bow with cascading ribbon tails about three inches from the base of the blossom. Tie tightly to keep bow from slipping down the stem and double knot it.For another simple finish wrap stem with ribbon in a color that compliments each dress a bridesmaid is wearing. For a very elegant effect you can make a satin ribbon wrap to cover the stems. Select an 18 by 12 inch piece of satin or velvet. Fold the edges over to make a pocket that the stem will set into.Fold all four edges and pin to hold. Sew the sides if desired. Make sure to leave an opening to slide the bottom of the stem into place. Lay cloth on table and set stem into opening at the bottom as shown in photo. Fold the entire piece of cloth in thirds to overlap the stem. It will look like a long tube of cloth. - 3
Hold a piece of ribbon near the bottom of the satin or velvet and wrap around the stem filled cloth. Tie a knot in the back. Keep wrapping tightly around the cloth every inch all the way to the top of the cloth. Hold firmly and wrap ribbon back down the cloth and stem being sure that you make a criss cross pattern all the way. . - 4
Tie the ribbon to the area where the first knot is. Sew a few stitches with needle and thread to keep ribbon from slipping off the end. If desired repeat with a strand of craft pearls - 5
Make an airy 4 loop bow with nylon tulle. Tie it to the floral bouquet above the top of the cloth. Double knot is to keep it firmly in place.
