    • 1). Clean the crevices of the watch back with a cotton ball, gently working out any accumulated dirt.

    • 2). Adjust your watch wrench by moving the screws opposite its handle side so that they are placed in the same spread as the screw slots of your watch. Check their alignment carefully, making slight adjustments as necessary.

    • 3). Place the screws of your watch wrench into the slots on the back of your watch and apply pressure, giving a clockwise turn to each. The back of the watch will mobilize, either beginning to slide or completely separating from the rest of the watch body. Gently slide the watch back into your hand, avoiding contact with the inside mechanisms of the watch.
