    • 1). Press the "Home" button on your iPod Touch, located below the multi-touch display.

    • 2). Touch and hold the icon for any app on the home screen until all the icons begin to jiggle.

    • 3). Drag the icon of the app that you want to hide and drop it onto the icon of any other app. Your iPod Touch will create a folder that contains both apps, naming the folder based on the type of apps, such as "Productivity." The two app icons appear at the bottom of the screen, with the folder's name bar above them. An icon representing the folder appears above the name bar.

    • 4). Tap the name of the newly created folder and rename it to something that you think will make inquisitive people less likely to explore the folder, such as "Spreadsheets 2011." Tap the folder's icon to save the change and return to the home screen.

    • 5). Tap the "Home" button to stop the app icons and folders from jiggling.
