How to Use an Adjustable Dado With a Radial Arm Saw
- 1). Unplug the radial arm saw from the power source.
- 2). Raise the saw blade off of the table.
- 3). Remove the blade guard and the saw blade from the radial arm saw.
- 4). Adjust the dial on the wobble dado blade to set the width of the dado to be cut. Install the dado blade onto the arbor and tighten the arbor nut. Reinstall the saw blade guard and check to see that the guard does not touch the blade at any point of the rotation.
- 5). Plug the saw back into the electricity outlet. Lower the blade to the desired depth of cut.
- 6). Position the board to be cut against the fence. Turn on the saw and pull the blade toward you, completing the dado cut. Return the saw to the safe, starting position before removing the board.
