Model airplane clubs can be found throughout the United States in small towns, rural areas and cities. Most clubs have fly-ins at least once a month in fields or municipal parks, where members come together to fly their planes and talk about their mutual interest. New Jersey is home to at least a dozen model airplane clubs that vary in size and meeting frequency. Joining one of these clubs is a great way to further your interest in model airplanes, whether you're just getting started or have always flown solo. - The Jersey Coast Radio Control Club's mission is "to advance, promote, safeguard and enjoy model aviation." Meetings take place in the evening on the third Thursday of each month at the Wall Township Municipal Building in Wall, New Jersey. The club hosts lots of special events throughout the year, including a holiday party, Oktoberfest, Warbirds Over Allaire and the JCRCC Electric Fun-Fly. Club members are available to help you purchase the right model plane for your flying abilities and advise you on what accessories you'll need. Members also volunteer their time to help newcomers get started learning how to fly.
