How to Make Wire Tree of Life Pendant
- 1). Bend the 16g sterling wire into a circle using the pipe or dowel as your guide.
- 2). Carefully slide the 6-mm soldered ring onto the loop. You'll use this ring to attach the pendant to a chain
- 3). Anchor one 24g sterling wire piece at the bottom of the large loop, wrapping it around several times, to form two equal lengths. Repeat with the remaining three wires.
- 4). Keep the four lengths of 24g sterling wire near each other and use them to cover the opening in the large loop.
- 5). Twist all the wrapped ends of the now eight wires together to create the trunk of the tree. Your twist should cover at least half the diameter of the large 16g loop.
- 6). Insert gemstone chips in each of the open wire ends, creating alternating patterns of colors if you wish. Wrap a small knot or loop at the end of each gemstone-filled wire to secure the stone.
- 7). Anchor the ends of each wire to the large circle, always keeping the soldered ring at the top center.
- 8). Cut the ends of each wire and tuck them under.
