Give your skin care products time to work. You'll not find any skin product that will create a miracle on your face in a single day. Before declaring product failure, give it 14 days or so to see how it performs. You'll know by then if the cleansing is adequate and break-outs are improving. Then, if you want, you'll just try another product and do the same thing. Sometimes it takes a few tries before you find the best skin care products for your skin.

Maybe you have highly sensitive skin? If you experience more than usual break-outs, you could be reacting to the chemicals found in common products, so it's worth a try to use a cleanser with natural ingredients. You can find cleansers with avocado or egg whites, so that could be a good alternative for you. Perhaps some olive oil is all you need (believe it or not, olive oil is fantastic for your skin). Sometimes skin types are too sensitive for the products in stores. If that's you, then go check out your kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator because you may be able to whip-up something that will be perfect for you and your skin.

It's not all that hard to determine how good a product is for your skin. Don't be afraid to experiment with your skin care. It won't take long to find something you like and that works well.
