How to Make a Body Mask
- 1). Buy ingredients from a whole foods store. Some of the components of the body mask may be hard to find in regular grocery stores.
- 2). Combine 1/2 cup of powdered clay, 1/4 cup of powdered kelp and 1/4 cup of Aloe vera gel. Add 1 tsp. of sea salt to 1/4 cup of water and shake well. Stir the salt water into the rest of the mixture.
- 3). Once the solution becomes a thick and muddy paste, spread over the body. Let set for 15 minutes or until the mud mask hardens.
- 4). Shower off making sure all of the body mask has completely rinsed away. Use warm water rather than hot which can be overly drying.
- 5). Pat the body dry being careful not to rub the skin. Immediately smooth a rich cream, such as cocoa butter, over the body to restore moisture.
