Spanish Comprehension: Throughout history divisions, wars, and bloodshed have ravished the earth simply because of a lack of communication among those speaking a language that none of the others could understand.
There are people that communicate through special signs with the hands, mouth movement or any other specialized movement.
This works for minorities, but most just does not approve of this.
The importance of learning a new language or several new tongue's is vital to people getting along in peace and unity.
Lesson in History: We can go back in time and let history prove this by our neighbor Canada.
Those that spoke French in Quebec were sick and tired of not being understood and often ignored ( they thought ) by English rule so they wanted to have French as the number one spoken choice.
They were determined to have their own nation.
In fact, they were willing to fight for this.
They wanted to have their own control while the English had their own and become separate.
But if two powers are not willing to work toward solving this problem by simply being in agreement on learning another tongue, below is the results.
A case in hand is the communities that speak French and also that speak Dutch in the country of Belgium.
You can see for yourself that two power heads will cause lots of conflict.
The Reason: They both have two separate systems of education and make important decisions separately and this not only causes confusion but it can also lead to fighting and bloodshed.
Let's check a bit more of history to see this and have we learned from it? I think not! At one time the Soviet Republic controlled the little country of Moldova located somewhat in the middle of Ukraine on one side with Romania on the other.
But by Romani having one language while the people of Russia has another, this has caused hatred and bitter conflict, even among some friends and family.
English-Spanish Unity: That's the very reason, if we move or travel to a country with one main language we should make the necessary effort to learn that tongue.
At the same time, it is of interest to those who already speak that main tongue to also learn the lovely language of the other.
English and Spanish talking people can make it a win win situation.
Both nations can and do have so many reasons to learn the other one's tongue.
I'm a proud English speaking, USA citizen and I'm proud as well of the Spanish talking ability of people in other countries as we can come together and talk and learn from each other regardless of which nation we're in.
What if I went into another country that spake Spanish but I could neither speak nor understand one word? We couldn't have the same view point on anything for lack of understanding nor could we tell the other of any experiences we may have had that could draw us closer together.
Plus, when a person can not speak English or Spanish they lose big time because they can not enjoy any of the blessings that come with being in that country.
They become loners for lack of speaking ability whether getting a good job or any opportunities that might come his way.
To sum it up, lack of communication or not being willing to learn another language besides your own can create a gap, causing war, fighting and bitterness as well as missing out on so many friends and the blessings of speaking each others tongue.
Nothing but good can come from knowing how to live in harmony and learning how to communicate with our neighbors in other lands or our own country.
