Have you ever read or heard about a person that did something incredible?  Did you marvel at their persistence in achieving their goal, even though they failed multiple times before finally succeeding?  What type of obstacles did they face?  What kept them going even though it seemed hopeless to do so? Not only can you find inspiration in people like this, you can also decide to become a person like this and inspire others.
  Imagine people still talking about you decades, or even centuries from now.
  Imagine your story inspiring a young girl or boy who will then go on to do something that rocks the world, like inventing some gadget that will improve quality of life for millions of people.
I know what you're thinking right now: "Who ME do that?  You must be kidding.
  I'm just an average Joe or Joan; nothing I do will make a huge impact on the world.
" You may not think your dreams are so grand that you'll become famous, but how do you really know?  Besides, fame isn't the issue here; it's more about the lives you touch through following your own unique purpose.
Even if it's only your own children and grandchildren or your other family members you impact, isn't that grand too?  What if your success inspires someone you love to begin following their own dreams?  What if they come to you later and say, "You inspired me to do this for myself; I can't thank you enough!"  And what if THEY do something that makes a huge impact on the world - all because you decided to go for your own dreams and do something meaningful with your life.
  What a great legacy to leave behind! You must understand that your dreams may not be just about you You may start out wanting to do work you love, and end up becoming a billionaire because you develop a product that people want.
  Even your smallest, seemingly insignificant goals have the potential to affect many other lives.
  Now, before you start feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders, understand that you don't have to worry about this right now.
  In fact I encourage you NOT to focus on the far-reaching effects of your achievements, simply because they are usually out of your control.
What you should do, however, is remember that everything you do has an impact on others, so you should always strive to do your absolute best.
  Don't hold back on your dreams because you can't see any way to make them happen.
  Find a way.
  Don't doubt your ability to do great things because you don't have enough education or training.
  Get the training, or seek out knowledge yourself.
  Don't play small and hide your uniqueness from others.
  Let it shine brightly and serve as a beacon for those without hope of their own.
By expressing your own greatness, you leave a legacy that will inspire and encourage others in ways you cannot imagine.
