How to Turn on Microsoft Windows Registry Auditing
- 1). Select "Start," located in the lower left of your desktop.
- 2). Click "Run."
- 3). Type "regedit," then click "OK."
- 4). Select the key to be edited.
- 5). Select "Permissions" from the "Edit" menu.
- 6). Select "Advanced."
- 7). Select "Auditing."
- 8). Select the name of the user by right-clicking.

Uncheck the "Successful" and "Failed" boxes of the activities you wish to audit.
