    • 1). Select "Start," located in the lower left of your desktop.

    • 2). Click "Run."

    • 3). Type "regedit," then click "OK."

    • 4). Select the key to be edited.

    • 5). Select "Permissions" from the "Edit" menu.

    • 6). Select "Advanced."

    • 7). Select "Auditing."

    • 8). Select the name of the user by right-clicking.

    • 9). Select "Access."

    • 10

      Uncheck the "Successful" and "Failed" boxes of the activities you wish to audit.
