Acne is caused by the excretion of hormones and because of this the entire dermatology industry tries to deal with the end product of the acne that you have on your face, back and chest.
The fact is this is the wrong way around.
If you really want to get rid of acne doesn't it make sense to work from the outside in? If you are able to affect the hormones and the secretion of those hormones than you will have a much better chance to get rid of the problem BEFORE it starts.
Forget for a moment everything that the doctor has told you about how to get rid of your acne and lets look at five things that you can do to help get rid of it.
First, make sure that you wash your face.
Of course washing your face is important as the secretion of oils is what can really clog your pores and cause some of your acne.
Wash your face 3 times a day, twice a day wash with a clean glycerine soap and once a day just wash with warm and then cold water.
Drying your skin from too much soap is more harmful than helpful.
Next, make sure that you diet is clean.
There are many things that you take in that will cause your body to secrete a lot of the hormone that causes acne.
Alcohol and sugar are bad.
Fried food almost causes skin problems all on its own and a diet that is high in refined foods can have an affect on your skin as well.
Two things that I like but that I also know cause acne are soda and chocolate.
Try to avoid all of these things and you will see a drastic improvement in your skin.
Thirdly watch the stress level in your body.
I am not saying that you should meditate your acne away...
or maybe I am? If you can make sure that you handle stress better by not taking things so seriously you will be a better person and the skin problems that are dogging you are going to have less of a chance of forming on the first place.
Try a fast.
Juice fasts are fast becoming famous for their ability to detox and reset hormone levels so that you can get rid of acne quickly and reduce acne flare-ups.
Finally try to drink a lot of water.
I know that there are nay sayers that would say that you do not need to drink water, your body gets all it needs from the food that we eat but why not try anyway.
Water I have always found to be a great way to help me feel more energetic and cleaner.
Water is a great nutrient in your fight against acne.
