How to Program an RCA RCU404 Remote
- 1). Turn on the device (such as, the TV) you're programming.
- 2). Hold down the “Code Search” button located on the RCU404 remote. Continue doing so until the indicator light on the remote lights up. Then, release the “Code Search” button.
- 3). Press the device button (such as the button labeled “TV”) on the remote.
- 4). Press “On/Off” on the RCU404 remote over and over to cycle through the codes saved in the remote. Continue doing so until the device turns off. Due to the amount of codes in the remote, you may have to press "On/Off" up to 200 times before the device turns off.
- 5). Press “Enter” on the RCU404 remote to save the code. Press “On/Off” again. The remote is properly programmed if the TV turns on. Otherwise, repeat the entire process.
