- 1). Go to the National Do Not Call Registry to register the numbers you are receiving unwanted calls from. Follow the instructions to enter in your phone number and other required information. A new registration can take as much as 31 days to take affect. Registration is free.
- 2). Answer the call from the unwanted caller when you receive it, or call the number back. Request to be added to the company's do not call list and that further communications be ceased.
- 3). Contact the FCC if calls from the number do not cease. You will need to provide the FCC with your name, address and your phone number. Provide the FCC with the name of the individual or company and the number the call came from. File a complaint online or call the FCC.
