How to Create a Weft Ponytail
- 1). Wash, condition and blow dry your hair.
- 2). Gather your hair into the position you would like your ponytail to sit. For example, if you would like a ponytail at the crown of your head, gather all your hair into one ponytail in that location.
- 3). Apply the hair gel or holding spray to the hair and smooth into position with the brush. Wrap the ends of your hair around the rubber band to make a ball and secure with an additional rubber band or bobby pins.
- 4). Place the end of the weft against the base your hair ball and secure in place with a bobby pin.
- 5). Wrap the weft around your hair ball and secure with bobby pins as you go. You should place at least three bobby pins for each time you wrap to ensure the ponytail stays in place. Style the ponytail as desired.
