The Top Three Reasons Why Good Men Cheat
So can everyone, but especially men.
Sure they have some great qualities, but let's face it, emotional maturity is almost inexcusably lacking.
For that reason, the three most common reasons for cheating are particular kinds of pain or anguish they are trying to communicate to you - they are just too unsophisticated to actually tell you.
Reason Number One: His pride was hurt It may sound juvenile, but emotions often take us back to grade school, when the laws of Draco ruled the playground.
An eye for an eye, foot for a foot, and so on.
So consider the possibility that you did something to hurt his pride.
If you have a tendency to be controlling, then your man may need more space but does know how to ask.
He loves you very much, but he needs to be his own person again! Hurt Number Two: His security was threatened Perhaps you laughed your pure, life-loving laugh at another man's joke.
Maybe he needs more affection in order to feel secure.
Whatever the reason, be it seemingly minor or major, this is another big reason to consider when assessing why he cheated.
Hurt Number Three: He is afraid you will cheat on him Often, men can act preemptively by breaking up because they are afraid they will be broken up with, cheating before being cheated on, and so on.
If he thinks he may not be good enough for you, or if he thinks you are not attracted to him (sometimes not sleeping with him often enough can cause this response), then he might cheat because he is afraid you want to be with other, more successful, sexy, or virile men.
Assure him you want to be with only him and this will not be a problem! In fact, these reasons why men cheat would be great to know even before he cheats, so that you can be sure you are not accidentally hurting him.
Having been cheated on is a tough situation, no matter what the reason, but at least you will have a better idea of what is going on.
Good luck!
