    • 1). Cover one side of the wine glasses with glass surface conditioner using a craft sponge. Cover only the area you will be painting onto, using 1/4 tsp. of conditioner per inch of glass .This will prepare the glasses for the enamel paint. Allow the conditioner to dry for 20 minutes. You can purchase glass conditioner at an art supply store.

    • 2). Paint the prepared wine glasses using acrylic enamel paint. Select colors and images that will represent the event you will be using the glasses at. For example, if you are going to use the wine glasses for a wedding reception, you can paint flowers or gold rings. If the wine glasses will be used for an anniversary party, you can paint on the date of the anniversary. Allow the paint to dry for 20 minutes.

    • 3). Place the wine glasses standing up onto a baking tray, and place the tray into a cold oven. Heat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit while the glasses are still in the oven. Bake the glasses for 10 minutes, then turn off the oven. Allow the glasses to cool down inside the oven.

    • 4). Take the glasses out of the oven, and wash the glasses well using dish soap. This will remove the surface conditioner, leaving behind the pictures that you painted on over it.
