A Handmade Bead Frog
- 1). Fold wire in half. At the mid-point, attach the lanyard hook or jewelry clasp.
- 2). Thread one end of the wire through one of the light-green beads, then through a black bead.
- 3). Crimp the wire around the black bean and thread it back through the light-green bead to make the bulging left eye of the frog.
- 4). Thread the wire from the left side of the frog's eye through a row of five green beads, then back through a second row of six green beads to make two rows of beads for the frog's shoulders.
- 5). Thread the wire, which should be sticking out the left side, through four green beads, then through three yellow beads. Crimp the wire around the yellow beads so they point outward like fingers on the frog's front legs. Thread the wire back through the four green beads to make the arm. Pull the wire tight so the arm can be bend slightly toward the eyes.
- 6). Thread through a row of six green beads, then back through a row of five green beads, then through another row of five green beads and finally back through another row of four green beads to make the bottom of the frog's body.
- 7). Thread the wire, which should be sticking out the left side again, through five green beads, then through three yellow beads. Crimp the wire around the yellow beads so they point outward like toes on the frog's hind legs. Thread the wire back through the five green beads to make the leg. Pull the wire tight so the leg can be bent slightly toward its bottom.
- 8). Thread the wire back through two of the last rows on the frog's bottom. Pull the wire tight and crimp it to hold all the beads in place.
- 9). Repeat Steps 2 through 8 in the opposite direction with the other half of the wire, making the right eye, arm and leg.

Twist the ends of the wires together using the needle-nose pliers, tightening the beads together and keeping them in place. - 11
Clip off the excess wire with the wire cutters.
