• Instead of cramming the walls with posters and cut-out pictures, look for a few art pieces you love and would like to hang. Posters aren't off-limits but having an abundance of them makes a room look as though it belongs to a young teenager.

• As a young woman, your tastes and interests continue to evolve. Decorate in such a way that allows for further growth.
