    • 1). Remove the front plastic cover from the CD case by gently prying one of the hinges out of place with your fingernail. Separate the two pieces. The second hinge will come free once the first has been released. Each hinge arm is held into small holes on the back piece of the jewel case by two small round pegs.

    • 2). Color a small horizontal rectangle with the blue permanent marker on the piece of jewel casing that has the two hinge arms. The hinge arms are connected to the front piece of the casing which is used to hold the CD's front cover. Color the rectangle 1 inch high and 2 inches long. This will be for your right eye.

    • 3). Color another small rectangle on the same piece of jewel casing, this time using the red permanent marker. Place this second rectangle to the left of the blue one. It will be used by your left eye for viewing the screen. Use the same dimensions for marking the CD casing, but leave about a 1/2 inch in between the two rectangles. Make sure that both the red and blue shapes are colored in completely for best results.

    • 4). Hold the CD casing cover up to your eyes and watch the 3-D movie or television program. The two projected images will now appear as one.
