Wedding Night Games
- The wedding night is a time for newlywed couples to enjoy alone time and intimacy with each another, but there's no reason that that can't be fun. Couples can add depth and memory to that first night together with romantic games that allow them to indulge in romance and in one another.
- This game works particularly well for the bride who was given a lingerie bridal shower or bachelorette party, but any bride can play this game. Make a list of the lingerie items that you will bring on your honeymoon. Think of desserts that each item could be named after. For example, a pink bra with matching panties could be called "Strawberry Shortcake," or a light green teddy could be called "Key Lime Pie." Type up a simple menu for your groom to choose from each night. For a more realistic look, copy descriptions of the featured desserts from real cookbooks, and find photos of the sweets online that can be included on your menu. Include prices like three long, lingering kisses or a backrub. When your husband has made his selection, change in another room, and then tell him he needs to pay his bride.
- You can purchase this game online, but anyone can make small changes to a traditional checkerboard that will work for this game. Simply write articles of clothing or an accessory---shirt, socks, pants, watch and earrings---on small strips of paper and glue, or tape one strip of paper on one side of each checker. Place the checkers on the board so that the clothing words are facing down. As each player captures the other's checkers, they also become entitled to the piece of clothing written on the bottom side of each checker. If a groom is not wearing a watch, for example, but his spouse captures the checker that calls for him to remove his watch, he must offer a kiss instead.
- Make up an array of coupons prior to the wedding night. These can be for things like "A sexy swim," "A massage" or "A dessert of body chocolate." Tailor the coupons to your spouse's personality and your honeymoon location, if possible. If you do not feel creative enough to make your own coupons, the Mint Printables website has a collection of romantic coupons that can be printed for free from your home computer. Fan the coupons out flirtatiously, and tell your spouse that she may pick one to redeem that night and one to redeem on another night of the honeymoon. Save the rest for other special occasions such as Valentine's Day and your wedding anniversary.
