How to Remove Excess Wallpaper Paste From Wallpaper

    • 1). Turn on a blow dryer to a low heat setting.

    • 2). Point the blow dryer at the wallpaper paste to try and melt the glue.

    • 3). Pour 1 cup water into a bowl.

    • 4). Add 1/2 tsp. liquid dish soap to the water.

    • 5). Dip a sponge into the liquid, and squeeze out the excess water.

    • 6). Gently rub the sponge onto the excess wallpaper paste until it comes off.

    • 7). Dry the area with a cloth.
