    • 1). Choose yarn colors that will complement the area that the chimes will be placed in. Cut six pieces of yarn in different lengths and colors.

    • 2). Glue four to five shells onto the yarn, all facing in the same direction. Leave enough space from the first shell to the top of the yarn to allow it to be tied off later. Let the glue set overnight.

    • 3). Paint the plastic lid if desired and let the paint dry completely. Punch six holes into the lid and pull the tops of the yarn through the bottom of the lid. Tie knots in the yarn over the top of the lid to prevent the yarn from slipping through.
