How to Dye Bleach Spots on Dark Clothing
- 1). Saturate a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide, and dab the bleach spots. This helps rinse the bleach from the fabric and neutralize its staining power.
- 2). Rinse the garment thoroughly in a basin of cold water to completely wash away the bleach. Wring the garment out before placing it in your dryer or on a clothesline. Allow it to dry completely.
- 3). Select a fabric marker that closely matches the color of the garment. Test the marker on a piece of paper or a small part of the bleach spot to preview its color.
- 4). Press the marker to the bleach spot, and shade it in lightly. Continue coloring in the spot until it blends with the surrounding fabric. Shade each additional bleach spot on the garment.
