How to Make a Crocheted Button Bracelet
- 1). Feed 20 shank buttons onto elastic cording. Push the buttons toward the ball of elastic cording to keep them out of the way and crochet 20 chain stitches.
- 2). Place the needle in the second stitch from the hook. Push one button down to the hook. Crochet a single crochet stitch, pulling tightly to keep the button close to the stitch.
- 3). Crochet 2 single single crochet stitches. Crochet another single crochet stitch, feeding another button to this stitch.
- 4). Continue crocheting 1 single crochet with a button and 2 single crochet stitches without a button until you reach the end of the chain.
- 5). Chain 1 and turn your work. Continue with the pattern until you reach the end of the row. Cut the elastic cording, leaving a 3-inch-long tail.
- 6). Feed the tail through an embroidery needle. Sew the two ends of the bracelet closed. Tie a knot in the elastic cording and cut off the excess elastic.
