Fleer E-X Baseball

Cracking a ?box? of 2004 Fleer E-X baseball was an E-Xciting adventure, to say the least.
Every box contains three base cards, one serial-numbered rookie card, one serial numbered parallel, one certified autograph and one game-worn memorabilia card, which may also contain an autograph.

All this for $175, you ask?

That?s right, my friends. Here?s what we pulled:
  • Base cards: Ken Griffey Jr., Mark Prior, Pedro Martinez;

  • Serial-numbered Rookie cards: Aarom Baldaris #/500 x2;
  • Signings of the Times autographed game-worn jersey: Don Mattingly; and
  • Clearly Authentics dual game-worn patch: Tony Gwynn #/22

What Fleer accomplished with this product was simple: collectors can now cut to the chase and score the bread and butter without having to wait on the checkout line. In other words, this product eradicates the need to rip through 24 packs in order to find the good stuff.

And did I mention that the light-blue, clear plastic packaging was cool, too?
